MILKCRATE X X-LARGE Tshirts

Aaron LaCrate’s Milkcrate Athletics collaborated with X-Large with a tshirt design combining the two brand’s logos together.  The two brands work well together because a) their legendary status in their careers, their musical roots and their logo simplicity, which results in a properly executed product that is simple and effective.  This collaboration comes in red on white, purple on heather grey and yellow on black.


QUINTIN 2011 Quickstrike Collection

Quintin a LA brand just released it’s winter collection snapbacks and beanies.  The collection is a mix of traditional logo-based “collegiate” style caps to bobble beanies for the cold days and alternative six panel caps, “working men” style.  The caps compliments their wide range of screen-printed tees, long sleeves and sweatshirts.

West Side Heroes Saint Side Release Limited Edition Snap-back with New Era Australia

The second of New Era Australia’s collaborative releases sees them working with underground Melbourne retailer Saint Side. A video interview with Saint Side founders Mark Gale and Steve Duck has been produced in conjunction with the limited edition caps.

Saint Side’s design pays homage to Cali street culture by incorporating legendary MC DJ Quik’s song title ‘Dollaz & Sense’ with the classic New Era 950 snap-back.

Saint Side’s Limited Edition New Era is available in both Grey/Red or Red/Black colourways for RRP $60. The caps will be stocked exclusively at Saint Side (St Albans and CBD Pop-Up stores) following the launch event.

The Saint Side for New Era release is limited to just 200 units nationwide the 50 Grey/Red caps will be available exclusively at the launch event.

New Era – Limited Edition Collaboration Snap-backs (New Era X China Heights)

New Era Australia has initiated two collaborative releases just in time for Christmas with each design limited to 200 units.

The first of the two collaborative releases sees New Era working with Sydney born, Tokyobased graphic artist Mark Drew. A video interview with Mark Drew has been released in conjunction with the Limited Edition caps.

Each of the local collaborating teams – Mark Drew and Melbourne’s Saint Side – were given free reign to develop their design for iconic baseball cap brand New Era.  Both teams elected to work with the classic 950 snap-back silhouette.

Mark’s design features the slogan ‘No Money, No Wife’ which humourously flips a popular marketing slogan for Japan’s Tower Records; ‘No Music, No Life’.

The Limited Edition Mark Drew New Era is available in Black and Gold (primary release) and Black/White/Grey (available at Launch Event only) for RRP $60 exclusively from  Sydney’s Half Sleeve.

Information for the Saint Side release and the accompanying video interview will be released late November.

Mark Drew is a renowned graphic artist with a credible history in independent zine publishing and other endeavours within Sydney’s underground culture.

Heel Bruise is proud to present their Autumn 2011 skate inspired collection called “Intermission”.  For those who don’t know Heel Bruise, they were created by two childhood friends backin 2009 aiming to create timeless graphics which represented their life, history and heritage.  The designs are simple, clean and effective.  It’s better than slapping stupid slogans just to sell products like other brands do.
