ABSOLUT Vodka and aMBUSH Gallery join forces to collaborate with four Australian street art legends; Ben Frost, James Jirat-Patradoon, Shannon Crees and Vexta, which will see their unique ‘bottle art’ expressions exhibited at Sydney’s Opera Bar until Wed-29-Feb before being auctioned on-line with proceeds going to four separate charities.
The ‘ABSOLUT aMBUSH’ Street Art Charity Collaboration came about as an extension of ABSOLUT Vodka’s support of the Australia’s first Street Art Festival, the highly successful OUTPOST Project.
Each of the four artists has been commissioned to create a one-off piece using an oversize ABSOLUT MODE Limited Edition display bottle as the canvas (each bottle measuring 500mm in height). The result is four original art works featuring spray, stencilling and illustration techniques, each bearing the distinctive signature of these dynamic young artists.
The ‘ABSOLUT aMBUSH’ exhibition is open at the Opera Bar in Sydney until 29-Feb, the online auction is now live via eBay. Bidding closes on Sat-25-Feb. All proceeds will be donated to the select charity of each artist – RSPCA (Ben Frost), Mission Australia (James Jirat-Patradoon), Sea Shepherd (Shannon Crees) and Borneo Orangutan Survival Australia (Vexta).
